Details of the closing Cooplands of Doncaster shops have been released, after the bakery went into pre-pack administration last week.
The company is to shut 39 shops across the company, including sites in Sheffield, Doncaster, Nottinghamshire, Leeds, Lincoln and Rotherham.
Forty-two shops will remain open and operating under the company, which has been bought by ReSolve, the London-based corporate restructure specialist.
When asked where the shops will be supplied from, with the shutting of the Doncaster bakery, a spokesman said: “We will be making no further comments at this time.”
In a statement from ReSolve, the company said: “We would like to thank our loyal customers and staff for their support during Cooplands’ 83-year history and your local bakery looks forward to serving you for many years to come.”
The full list of shops that will remain open and those that will be excluded (i.e. closed) can be seen below.
