Global bakery business Aryzta Food Solutions has introduced a nine-strong seasonal bakery range in the run-up to Christmas.

Available now, the range comprises sweet and savoury products, which the business claims will enable retailers to meet shopper demand for treats that provide a dash of festive indulgence.

The festive line-up includes Cuisine de France-branded 90g Cranberry Torsades (twists) at £1.00 and 80g Brandy Mince Puffs (pictured), priced at £1.25, as well as festive 140g sausage rolls at £1.25. Also available are 160g festive slices, which are available in turkey, pork sausage, bacon and cranberry in a creamy gravy, for £1.50 each.

Vincent Brook, head of UK retail at Aryzta Food Solutions, said that the run-up to Christmas provided a major opportunity for retailers to maximise their in-store bakery and food-to-go profits.

“Bakery is already one of the top-performing sectors in convenience,” Brook said. “Combine this with the fact that food-to-go shoppers spend 10% more than the average c-store shopper, and 42% cite hot food as a reason to return. We’re enabling retailers to use our high-margin products to capitalise on the festive feelgood factor at a time when shoppers want to indulge.”

The rest of the range comprises:

  • 110g Triple Chocolate Christmas Muffins – £1.00
  • 75g Linzer Biscuits (shortbread filled with raspberry jam and dusted with sugar) – £1.00
  • 60g Gingerbread Reindeers – 85p
  • 55g Christmas Donuts – £1.00
  • 68g Luxury Mince Crowns – £1.50
