Pretzel specialist Auntie Anne’s and sandwich firm Which Wich have partnered with coffee companies to expand their offering.

Auntie Anne’s teamed up with Lincoln & York, one of the UK’s largest specialist coffee roasters, to launch its own signature coffee blend. It is available in 28 of the firm’s 45 UK and Ireland locations, with further rollout planned.

The signature blend is made from 100% Arabica beans and carries Rainforest Alliance certification, ensuring it meets the highest ethical and environmental standards. Handpicked from the finest coffee-growing regions of Brazil, Central America, and Colombia, this blend has been curated to offer a rich, full-bodied flavour which is described as having ‘zesty orange acidity’, ‘caramel sweetness’, and a ‘velvety milk chocolate finish’.

“We’ve always believed that a great pretzel deserves a great coffee, and our new signature blend is the perfect pairing,” said Antony Baker, director of operations at Auntie Anne’s UK.

As part of the launch, Auntie Anne’s will also join Coffee Club, a nationwide subscription platform for coffee enthusiasts. Members will enjoy 25% off all barista-made drinks at participating Auntie Anne’s stores – placing the brand alongside the likes of Soho Coffee, Black Sheep, and Caffè Nero.

The coffee launch comes during a period of strong growth for Auntie Anne’s UK & Ireland. Year-to-date in 2025, sales are 15% up and visits 12% up year-on-year, with the brand averaging a 12% compound annual growth rate. Alongside new store openings and refreshed branding, the coffee programme is set to become a major driver of repeat visits and incremental spend across the estate.

Meanwhile, Seattle’s Best Coffee, the brand owned by Nestlé Professional, has relaunched in the UK as it looks to target a new generation of coffee drinkers ‘who value quality and affordability’.

As part of this, it has partnered with US-founded sandwich brand Which Wich, known for its fully customisable toasted sandwiches which are freshly made to order and served hot.

Which Wich UK managing director Rami Awada said the partnership “marks an exciting step in our UK expansion”. With two sites in London, Which Wich is set to open a third location in Cardiff soon, with more in the pipeline.

The new partnership is also accompanied by a rebrand and refreshed offer for Seattle’s Best Coffee. The new range includes hot and iced coffee menus, plant-based and dairy-free options as standard, and limited-edition seasonal flavours inspired by Nestlé’s confectionery brands. The base is a 100% Arabica, Fairtrade certified coffee range with an RRP of £3.

With served and self-served locations already live across colleges and universities, workplaces and NHS sites, Nestlé Professional added that it has ambitious plans to unlock the brand’s full commercial potential as it aims to tap into the UK coffee market. The UK now drinks 95 million cups of coffee every day and the category is projected to be worth £7bn by 2030.

“Seattle’s Best Coffee is a brand with deep heritage, and we’re excited to bring it back to the UK at a time when demand for great coffee has never been higher,” said Isabelle Fournier, head of beverages UK&I at Nestlé Professional. “Our mission is simple: to make it easier for operators to serve consistently great coffee that customers love, wherever they are.”
