Cornish bakery Pasty Presto has started a “new Cornwall-inspired” rebrand across 29 shops throughout the UK.
Working with Absolute on the redesign, the new brand will be introduced over the next four months as part of an ongoing strategic growth plan for the company.
Founded in 1994, the new interiors include raw oak panels and industrial steel, hard wood floors and a bespoke mosaic tiled floor design.
Steve Grocutt, owner and founder of Pasty Presto, said: “Year after year, thousands of people make their annual pilgrimage down to Cornwall to escape city life and enjoy the unique lifestyle. Our rebrand is not only about the taste of Cornwall and our award-winning authentic Cornish pasties, it’s about the whole Cornish experience and lifestyle. Our rebrand ensures our customers enjoy a slice of this special county as soon as they step through the door.”
Grocutt added that the change had already resulted in high sales in pilot shops.
The bakery offers authentic Cornish pasties, French pastries and coffee by Union Coffee. Savoury pasty recipes include Thai chicken, West Country pork & apple, and spicy chickpea, while sweet options include apple, rhubarb & custard, as well as chocolate & banana.
In 2013, Pasty Presto was awarded the title of World’s Best Traditional Cornish Pasty at the World Pasty Championships, held at the Eden Project.
