Sainsbury’s is selling Patisserie Valerie products on its patisserie counters under a new trial partnership.
Available at 12 Sainsbury sites across the UK, the handmade cakes and pastries, such as its individual slices and gateaux, are made and delivered by Patisserie Valerie in the morning and sold in the brand’s own presentation boxes by Sainsbury’s.
The retailer said the partnership would give customers a wider choice of high-quality products at “great value and convenience”.
“Working with Patisserie Valerie, we can offer our customers an even greater choice of delicious, high-quality fresh food in our stores,” Paul Mills-Hicks, food commercial director for Sainsbury’s, said.
“This trial is a great example of how we’re maximising our space to offer customers choice and convenience and we know that working with high-quality, trusted brands helps attract new customers to our stores.”
The Patisserie Valerie range will be available at the following stores:
- Balham, London
- Finchley Road, London
