Wrights Food Group has extended its savoury line-up with a premium sausage roll.
The six-inch pastry, which comprises British quality-assured Lincolnshire seasoned pork wrapped in puff pastry, will be available frozen unbaked through foodservice and bakery wholesalers.
The move comes after the business unveiled four new vegan savoury products last month.
At the time, Wrights commercial director Helen Bowyer said she expected to see the trend for vegan food to continue to develop over the next two years – recent research from Mintel showed that 27% of Brits plan to buy vegan food this year.
