Cheshire-based Roberts Bakery is launching an advertising campaign to “bust bread boredom” with a look at what goes on behind its doors.
Hitting screens across ITV Central, Granada and Yorkshire regions on September 4, the Remarkably Roberts advert celebrates the bakery’s commitment to product innovation, health and sustainability.
It highlights products including Roberts’ Good for You Energy Balance Bloomer with quinoa, watermelon and chia seeds, the just launched Porridge Loaf, plus reduced plastic Bloomer bags that can be recycled at home. The advert also enters The Exploratory, Roberts’ innovation hub where its ideas are brought to life.
The 30-second advert is also being used to launch Roberts’ six-strong breakfast-inspired snacking range for ‘when toast is too slow’. This is available from September 7 in convenience stores across the UK. From September 10, multipacks will also be on sale at Roberts’ recently launched e-shop, Roberts Bakery Direct.
Roberts’ marketing director Megan Harrison said: “We’re showcasing our innovative product portfolio – and the pillars of health, sustainability and innovation – that underpin everything we do here.
The TV advert shows how Roberts is transforming its business and the bread and baked goods category as a whole, she said.
“When we first opened the doors to The Exploratory a couple of years ago, we made innovation a priority. Our new ad campaign brings to life our attitude and approach perfectly.”
