Allied Bakeries has launched a new promotional campaign for its Allinson bread brand, offering consumers their own grow-your-own herb garden kit.

The on-pack promotion, running from March to July, extends across the entire Allison bread product range, and includes tokens, which customers can collect to grow their own parsley, basil and chives.

Ellen Bailey, senior brand manager for Allinson, said: “Allied Bakeries has chosen to give away a herb garden to tie in with our heritage. Thomas Allinson was a Victorian pioneer of healthy eating and his belief in good nutrition, wholesomeness and high-quality food still inspires the brand today.”
