BAKO North Western (BNW) has raised more than £550 for the Make-A-Wish foundation as part of Craft Bakers’ Week.

Staff were encouraged to get involved in the week by partaking in a series of challenges, including piping cupcakes and taste-testing.

The finale featured a doughnut-eating competition, in which the winner consumed 12 doughnuts in five minutes.

Craft Bakers’ Week took place from last Monday (29 September). The seven-day celebration of craft bakery saw bakers from around the UK hold different events, promote new products, and raise money for the Make-A-Wish charity, which was this year’s chosen charity to support.

Many bakers took to twitter to celebrate the week. Here is a round-up of our favourite tweets.
