Prewett’s expands gluten-free range with biscuit bar

Gluten-free brand Prewett’s has expanded its range with a chocolate-coated and caramel biscuit bar. 

The Chocoful Caramel features caramel chunks and biscuit coated in milk chocolate. Currently available in Asda, the biscuit comes in boxes of five individually wrapped bars.

It is made with a combination of gluten-free oat flour, rice flour and soya flour.

“Chocoful Caramel is an exciting and great-tasting new gluten-free biscuit bar. It is ideal as a lunchtime treat or as a quick ‘on-the-go’ snack, providing gluten-free consumers with a great new alternative in the marketplace,” said David Wood, business improvement director of Northumbrian Fine Foods, which owns the Prewett’s brand.

The original Chocoful bar from Prewett’s, launched as part of an NPD drive by the brand in 2016, won gold at the 2017 Free From Food Awards.
