What was 2018 like for Britain’s baking industry?

British Baker wants you to tell us what the past 12 months have meant for the retail bakery market.

We are running our annual Bakery Business Survey over the next few weeks to gauge how 2018 treated businesses that operate shops selling baked goods.

Your responses – which will be confidential – will form a key part of our annual Bakery Market Report, to be published this spring.

And one lucky reader who completes the survey will win £75-worth of Amazon vouchers.

The survey just takes a few minutes to complete and covers topics including sales costs and what the future may hold for the industry.

For the first time, we are also looking at retail prices of key take-out baked goods.

“In what is proving to be one of the most challenging and tumultuous retail environments, we want to give an accurate picture of how the bakery retail sector is performing, and your views are an essential part of this,” said British Baker editor Vince Bamford.

Remember, it takes just minutes to give your answers and, if you complete the survey, you will be entered into our draw to win £75-worth of Amazon vouchers.

The closing date for responses is 18 February 2019.
