Matt Grenter, sales manager at Brioche Pasquier, said: “The baked snack market is forecasted to grow to £3.8bn by 2016, and there are huge opportunities within the snack market to take advantage of growing trends towards nutritionally balanced and affordable products. Our new product has been created to answer these needs for retailers looking to increase sales in the impulse and snacks category”.
Alongside this, the company is launching a £250k marketing campaign to publicise the company’s into the retail category.
The £250k investment in marketing will also be spent on targeted campaigns to push the product to new consumers and interactive campaigns across multiple channels.
