Northern Ireland’s Ditty’s Home Bakery has introduced a seeded sourdough loaf featuring linseeds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
The sourdough is made using a liquid sour from one of the world’s leading suppliers which Ditty’s said provides stability, consistency and a distinctive taste and texture for its products.
“We’ve seen steady sales since we introduced our first sourdough bread,” said Robert Ditty, master baker and managing director of Ditty’s Home Bakery.
“We decided to build on the bread’s standing as a healthier option by introducing a tasty new seeded sourdough. Our state-of-the-art oven really makes a difference enabling us to bake bread that is consistently delicious.”
The loaf adds to Ditty’s range of traditional Northern Irish breads such as soda farls, potato cakes and brown soda bread. The brand also recently extended its range with cider-infused oatcakes.
