Wrights Food Group has unveiled its largest listing with M&S comprising year-round specials as well as seasonal items such as a British Beef Bourguignon & Dauphinoise Pie.
The manufacturer has also revealed a new Christmas addition to M&S’ in-store bakeries in the form of a Panettonut – a panettone-inspired doughnut. The hybrid treat builds on the success of the retailer’s yum yum/doughnut hybrid called Yumnuts which were first introduced in 2020.

“We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Wrights Food Group to bring customers an even bigger selection of high-quality, convenient comfort foods this winter,” said M&S frozen food buyer Pippa Masters.
“We’ve seen a growing demand for luxury dinner centrepieces that can be easily cooked from frozen as customers continue to prioritise easy at-home entertaining, and these indulgent mains really do make it as easy as pie to host friends and family at short notice.”
Wrights Food Group commercial director Helen Bowyer added that the company expands its lines with M&S every year and are “creating more and more specialist and indulgent items - particularly for the celebratory Christmas season”.
The firm’s £30million manufacturing facility in Crewe produces more than three million savoury products per week including gastro pub pies and ready meals for the retail and hospitality sector. It also has an extensive vegan range including a Vegan Peppered Steak Slice and Vegan Sausage Roll, which complements its wider savoury range.
The business was bought by The Compleat Food Group, formed of Addo Food Group and Winterbotham Derby, in late 2021.
