Pret A Manger will release its Christmas menu on 12 November.

It includes the Pret Christmas Lunch sandwich, the Nuts about Christmas sandwich, and a brie and cranberry sandwich, made with a slowly fermented sourdough artisan loaf.

The granary-based Christmas Lunch sandwich contains free-range British turkey breast, a layer of cranberry sauce, pork and apricot stuffing, crispy onions and baby spinach leaves.

The Pret’s Christmas Nut Roast sandwich, which received praise at this year’s Sammies awards, held by The British Sandwich Association, contains hazelnuts, cashews and almonds. These are mixed with leeks, rosemary, thyme, sage, chestnut mushrooms, gruyère, grilled carrots, cranberry sauce and baby spinach leaves layered on granary bread.

Returning for 2013 is the brie and cranberry baguette filled with brie, cranberry sauce, dried cranberries, pistachios, mayonnaise and rocket. The ham and festive chutney baguette is made with Wiltshire-cured ham, plum and ginger chutney, seasoned and served with baby spinach.

Sweet items will include Pret’s mince pies and Crimble Crumble: a sandwich of shortbread, mincemeat and crumble.
