French patisserie manufacturer Brioche Pasquier has named Matthew Grenter as its new foodservice sales manager.
Grenter will be based at Brioche Pasquier’s bakery in Milton Keynes and will be responsible for sales of its French patisserie range, as well as bakery and biscottes products.
Grenter joined Brioche Pasquier 16 years ago, when the company first started to import brioche products into the UK. His role was to negotiate with supermarkets to build up the presence of the brand on the shelves.
He was also a retail sales manager for 10 years and will now focus on the foodservice side of the business.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for me to apply my skills in a new sector of the market and to increase brand awareness across the foodservice industry. I’d like to be able to increase sales of our three product categories – patisserie, biscottes and brioches – in all sectors of foodservice,” said Grenter.
“I’ve got such confidence in the excellence of our products and believe that, with hard work, we could double our current business over the next four years.”
