Pret spring baguettes and salads

Filled baguettes, salads, and platters have been rolled out as part of Pret’s spring menu for 2025 as it looks to tap into sharing occasions and seasonal flavours.

Taking inspiration from Pret’s Chicken Satay Salad is the Chicken Satay Baguette. It sees British chicken breast coated in soya & coconut satay sauce, pickled cabbage & carrot and chilli salt all packed into a white baguette.

There’s also the Romesco Style Red Pepper Baguette which has chargrilled red pepper coated in a Romesco style sauce, sprinkled with Kalamata olives, more red pepper for extra crunch and fresh basil leaves, served on a stone baked baguette.

Romesco is a running theme throughout the new Pret menu. The food-to-go specialist has created its own ‘rich and vibrant’ nut-free Romesco sauce which is used liberally across several products, including the Romesco Style Butter Bean & Feta Salad and Romesco Style Butter Bean & Feta Salad Platter. These are made with crumbled feta, dressed butter beans, creamy avocado, cucumber, and chargrilled red pepper as well as the titular sauce.

Tapping into demand for posher picnic food, Pret has added several new platters to its menu including a Ploughman’s Platter and Charcuterie Platter. The Ploughman’s features a selection of Cheddar, Grevé and Brie, with cornichons, baby plum tomatoes, and sliced stone baked baguettes, accompanied with Pret Pickle and pickled onions. The charcuterie version, meanwhile, has slices of Italian prosciutto and Wiltshire ham, cornichons, baby plum tomatoes, cucumber, and sliced stone baked baguettes, accompanied with Pret Pickle and the Romesco-style sauce for dipping.
