Bakery ingredients giant AB Mauri has announced four new appointments to its executive board.
Dan Parkin joins as finance & IT director for UK and Ireland. Working in the Associated British Foods group that AB Mauri falls within, his experience has encompassed British Sugar, AB Agri and the Weston Centre.
Stephen Tutt has been appointed director of supply chain. His responsibilities include procurement, production and demand planning, logistics and customer services.
Andrew Dinsdale joins as director of sales for the UK – a role which has evolved from head of sales and lead for the industrial sector. One of his primary responsibilities will be giving direction to the team of PureCraft, the premium bakery mixes brand. Dinsdale’s journey into baking started in 1989 with a baking course at Monkwearmouth college. His experience includes spells with education, RHM technology, Rank Hovis, British Bakels and Novozymes. He’s been with AB Mauri for a combined 16 years, in a variety of technical and commercial roles, on a UK and global basis.
Brian Hunnikin has been appointed director of manufacturing and engineering. Brian has specific responsibility for AB Mauri’s Northampton, Corby, Royston and Gainsborough sites, with the goal of ensuring their status as ‘world leading manufacturing plants’. Hunnikin has a career spanning Unilever, Walkers Snacks, Mars, Weetabix, and nine years at Princes Foods.
