Walkers Shortbread has launched a commemorative biscuit tin to celebrate Her Majesty’s 90th birthday.
The limited edition tin from Walkers is to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s official 90th birthday celebrations this June.
It is filled with pure butter Union Jack shortbreads, and also includes a portrait of the Queen, which the company says is to enhance its value as a keepsake. The tin is priced at £8.
Speyside-based Walkers was awarded the Royal Warrant by Her Majesty The Queen in 2002 for its oatcakes. It was also awarded the Queen’s Award for Export Achievement, for the international reach of its luxury bakery products to over 90 countries worldwide.
All Walkers products are free from artificial colours, flavourings and preservatives. They are certified Kosher (OUD) and are suitable for vegetarians.
In 2014, Walkers joined the gluten-free market with the launch of three coeliac-friendly products.
