A London bakery company has been inundated with enquiries after its Lego cake went viral.
The South East London-based bakery, Cupcakes by SJ, created the colourful cake for a wedding, and it has since gained over 145k Facebook likes and over 71k shares on the site.
The three-tier cake consisted of a chocolate, Madeira and fruit layer.
Since the creation was posted, the family-run business has explained to customers that it could not fulfil the requests of everyone about the cake.
The bakers run the business from their family kitchen, and said: "We are a family who love to bake and create cakes for family, friends and friends of friends.
"We do not have a shop or website or any other form of pictures other than those on this page, which was created at the request of friends purely to see what we’d been creating.
"While all requests are seriously considered, I had no idea one picture would create the reaction and influx that it has in the last 2 days and am sorry that many requests are not possible to fulfil.
"I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for your kind comments, likes and shares it is completely mind blowing and left my parents and I lost for words."
The cake was produced for a Lego-themed wedding for a couple in Portsmouth.
