Rademaker has further strengthened its bakery equipment innovation capabilities with the acquisition of Form & Frys Maskinteknik.

At the same time as purchasing the Danish specialist in folding, forming, and filling machinery, the Netherlands-based production line supplier has also announced a new strategic partnership with Italian vision inspection system manufacturer Sensure.

Rademaker has been the exclusive distributor of Form & Frys equipment in the UK, among other countries, since October 2023. The acquisition deal – effective from 10 April 2025 and made for an undisclosed fee – is said to align with its long-term strategic objectives and further enhances its ability to serve the bakery industry with highly specialised solutions.

Form & Frys is recognised for its engineering excellence in shaping complex pastry and pizza products through innovative tooling, noted Rademaker, adding that the machinery is complementary to its own pastry and pizza production lines. Several joint projects having already been successfully installed.

Additionally, Form & Frys offers a unique range of depositing equipment capable of applying savoury and sweet fillings in 3D forms onto dough pieces produced on Rademaker lines.

Following positive results over the past two years of their commercial partnership, both organisations engaged in a thorough exchange of information, leading to the acquisition. The partnership creates exciting opportunities to expand the Rademaker product portfolio, support organisational growth, and strengthen the company’s strategic pillars, said the supplier.

Form & Frys is to continue operating independently under its current management in Denmark. The focus during the initial transition phase will be on maintaining operational continuity while identifying synergies in processes and product development.
