YouTube and Instagram sensation Matt Adlard, the Topless Baker, is among the bakers who will feature at Foodex 2018.
Joining the Topless Baker on the Brook Food Processing Equipment stand will be the award-winning Mark Bennett, of Patisserie Mark Bennett, and Adam Pagor, who owns Greenwich-based micro-bakery Season Etc.
Bennett, a former Baking Industry Awards Baker of the Year, will demonstrate how to produce and flavour sourdoughs, while Pagor will produce sticky buns and pastries, as well as a selection of breads using traditional methods.
The Topless Baker will share some of his favourite recipes and bakes including a cut-out pie and hand-painted macarons.
The bakers will feature on Brook’s 160sq m stand, W250, during the three-day exhibition.
“We love bakers; it’s these great craftsman that keep our industry going. To be able to showcase their passion and talents as part of a stand is a real honour and privilege,” said Brook Food’s marketing director Ann Wells.
“Obviously it’s also going to be great to sample some of their products to keep us fuelled during a busy show too.”
Running from 16-18 April at the NEC in Birmingham, the Foodex trade show highlights the top trends across the food manufacturing sectors.
Britain’s Best Loaf competition will also be appearing at Foodex as part of the Farm Shop & Deli show.
