Tim Hortons has reported double-digit sales growth over the festive period at its UK and Ireland stores.
The master franchisee for the Canadian coffee and quick-service restaurant brand revealed sales at its 70 sites across the region had accelerated towards the back end of last year. This included a 10% increase in like-for-like revenue over the five weeks to 31 December compared to the same period last year.
Its strong Christmas trading came on the back of growth throughout 2025, with system sales improving from £99m to £105m and like-for-like sales up by 8%. Tim Hortons currently operates 70 stores across the region following the launch of a franchise model in 2023 – it first entered the UK market with a site in Glasgow eight years ago.
Tim Hortons said it is known for its all-day value for money proposition with many of its stores open 24 hours a day throughout the year, catering to consumers’ needs for convenience and availability.

It noted that sales had been boosted by demand for round-the-clock coffee and food, especially its favourites such as Chocolate Glazed Timbits (signature bite-sized doughnut holes). Other product lines leading bakery sales included the Old Fashioned Glazed and Boston Cream donuts and the Crispy Chicken Brioche Burger range, while French Vanilla coffee emerged as the most popular drink.
“We are pleased about the progress we have made throughout 2025, and particularly over the festive period, which demonstrates our offering is resonating with consumers across the UK,” commented Deepinder Batth, CEO of Tim Hortons UK&I.
“Over the last 24 months we have honed our UK market proposition and are confident we now have strong foundations in place to deliver sustainable, long-term success. Our quality coffee and freshly prepared food, at an affordable price point, is highly popular with customers, evidenced by strong 8% like-for-like growth momentum over 2025 and encouraging Christmas trading performance,” he added.
Batth said he looked forward to continuing to grow the Tim Hortons brand in the UK over the coming years, bringing the warm hospitality for which it is renowned, to increasing numbers of loyal customers throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
