Krispy Kreme has relaunched its core range of doughnuts with a new line-up of fan favourites, bestsellers, and brand-new trend-led flavours.

The Original Glazed, which was first created in 1937 and brought to UK shores 21 years ago, will remain alongside a new take on the Cinnamon Swirl, Chocolate Sprinkles, and Strawberry Sprinkles.

Eight new on-trend flavours, including vegan-friendly options, have also been added including a Blueberry Bubble Bliss and Lemon Meringue Monster.

The new Krispy Kreme line-up comprises:

  • Strawberry Sprinkles (from £2.65) – an Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in strawberry flavoured icing and finished off with vibrant rainbow sprinkles
  • Cinnamon Swirl (from £2.65) – Taking inspiration from cinnamon buns, this doughnut is hand-rolled in cinnamon sugar while still hot, and finished with cream cheese flavoured frosting
  • Blueberry Bubble Bliss (from £3.15) – tapping into the trend for fruity bubble tea, this doughnut is topped with blueberry icing, a dollop of lychee-flavoured frosting, and a scattering of blueberry-flavoured bubbles
  • Strawberry Sundae (from £3.15) – celebrate the taste of summer with this treat double filled with a smooth strawberry and Kreme blend, topped with a delicate strawberry icing, and finished with a drizzle of white chocolate coating
  • White Marble Chocolatta (from £2.65) – this exquisite treat is hand-dipped in a creamy white chocolatey coating and swirled with milk chocolatey marbling
  • Salted Caramel Sensation (from £3.15) – a vegan-friendly addition, this doughnut is filled with salty caramel and creamy Kreme dipped in caramel-flavoured icing, and sprinkled with honeycomb
  • Lemon Meringue Monster (from £2.65) – described as a ‘zesty zinger’, the treat is hand-dipped in a luscious lemon-flavoured icing, scattered with meringue pieces, and finished with playful sugar eyes
  • Trip Choc Indulgence (from £3.15) – this one is for serious chocolate lovers, according to Krispy Kreme. A silky-smooth covering of chocolatey icing is applied atop a doughnut filled with a pool of chocolatey, brownie deliciousness
  • Original Glazed Doughnut (from £2.35) – the Original Glazed is a ‘heavenly circle’ of glazed dough
  • Chocolate Sprinkles (from £2.65) – hand-dipped in chocolatey icing and finished off with a generous final flourish of chocolate sprinkles
  • Cookies & Kreme (from £3.15) – another vegan option with some cookie crunch. An Original Glazed topped with Kreme and cookie pieces
  • Biscoff (from £3.15) – a light and fluffy base bursting with Biscoff Kreme meets a warming caramelised and crumbly topping
  • Nutty Chocolatta (from £3.15) – it’s nearly bursting with rich, chocolatey, hazelnutty goodness and has a generous scattering of caramelised hazelnuts on top.

The refreshed range will be available from 12 August at Krispy Kreme shops across the country, as well as supermarket cabinets in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s, service stations, third-party delivery partners UberEats, JustEat and Deliveroo, and nationwide delivery on the brand’s website.

To celebrate the launch, from 12 August to 2 September Krispy Kreme is offering a 15% discount on the entire singles and doughnut box range, as well as drinks, for all Krispy Kreme rewards members.

Driving loyalty and rewards remains a core part of Krispy Kreme’s growth plans in 2024 as it looks to expand its reach across the nation. In an interview with British Baker at the opening of its flagship store on Oxford Street earlier this year, president and managing director for the UK and Ireland Jamie Dunning revealed it would be expanding into the convenience market as well as continuing to partner with interesting and unusual brands on limited-edition doughnuts.

It has also found success online with delivery and ecommerce channels supporting overall growth of £1m in 2023.
