Food-to-go supplier Fresh Food For Now Company has launched an unbranded range of premium sandwiches and wraps for retailers and foodservice operators.

The business noted that the blank, sleek packaging design of its new selection offers a fresh, ‘made in-house’ feel for stockists and customers.

It added that the high-end packaging formats ensure products stand out on the shelf and are suitable for a wide variety of outlets, promising quality with ingredients sourced for ‘standout provenance’.

Included in the new range are ‘timeless classic’ varieties of sandwiches such as Chicken Club, Farmhouse Cheddar Ploughman’s, BLT, Greek-style Chicken, Mediterranean-style Tuna Salad, and Ham & Farmhouse Cheese.

The wraps feature fillings of Chicken Caesar, Saag Aloo Khobez, and Green Chickpea & Falafel, while four premium salad options have also been unveiled as part of the launch.

Fresh Food For Now Company is a business and delivery service that was created as a division of food manufacturing giant Samworth Brothers in 2019. It claims to have the size and scale to reach virtually any type of British business whatever its location, from big city shops to rural communities and roadside service stations.

Fourth-generation family firm Samworth Brothers produces a wide range of chilled and ambient foods that are consumed by millions of people throughout the UK daily. As well as supplying many retailers with own-label goods, its portfolio also includes bakery brands Ginsters, Soreen, West Cornwall Pasty Co., Dickinson & Morris, and Urban Eat.

It is also a major shareholder in savoury pastry specialist Higgidy, which reported a £3.4m loss in its most recent financial statement due to inflation and disruption from its site expansion in Shoreham-by-Sea last year.
