Family-owned business Roberts Bakery has continued its support for The Royal Cheshire County show by renewing its sponsorship of the Roberts Bakery Food Halls.

Described as a “food-lover’s paradise”, the food halls are being supported by Roberts for the 12th consecutive year.

Comprising two marquees, they will include a live theatre for celebrities to show their skills throughout the two-day event. The line-up will include Michelin-award winning Jean-Christophe Novelli, who will be joined by 2014’s Great British Bake Off finalist Luis Troyano and TV presenter Sean Wilson.

Mike Roberts, deputy chairman of Roberts Bakery, said the company was committed to supporting community events across the north west.

“Cheshire is very much our heartland and we are delighted to enjoy such a prominent role at such a popular county occasion.”

The Roberts Bakery Baking Education Stand will also be located in the halls. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about bread and baking from past-show patroness Karol Roberts, one of the Roberts Bakery family.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to sample Roberts’ sandwich recipes, as well as purchase its bakery products.

The event, which will run from 20-21 June 2017, is expected to attract 80,000 visitors.
