A new delivery partnership with Uber Eats is enabling Gail’s to scale its on-demand offering across the UK.
The move sees the bakery café chain expand upon its existing partnership with Deliveroo, which had been its exclusive delivery service since 2023.
It comes at a time when morning delivery habits are accelerating, noted Uber Eats. Breakfast took the crown as the UK’s fastest-growing mealtime on the platform last year, with app searches for coffee also more than doubling (+150%) in 2025 as consumers looked for convenient ways to jumpstart their day.
The menu currently available on the app from select Gail’s stores features the brand’s signature bakes including cinnamon buns, sourdough loaves, croissants, and savoury pastries, as well as its house-blend specialty coffees.

“Gail’s is an iconic modern staple for many neighbourhoods, and we’re thrilled to bring their world-class bakery offering to Uber Eats users up and down the country,” commented Merve Basci, UK general manager at Uber Eats.
“With morning orders and coffee searches soaring across our platform last year, partnering with Gail’s allows us to elevate our offering with top-tier artisan food and specialty drinks. We’re excited to help GAIL’s reach new customers and make those everyday morning cravings even easier to satisfy,” Basci added.
In July, Gail’s opened its largest shop in London, a 3,200 sq ft site with 99 covers at The Broadway near St James’s Park. It also recently added new locations in Holland Park, Shoreditch, and Canary Wharf, whilst expanding outside the capital with shops in Banbury and Cheltenham that have helped it hit the 200-site estate mark.
The company has an ambition of reaching 300 UK shops, and grew sales by 23% year-on-year to £219.8m in its most recent financial period (ended 28 February 2025). It signalled its intention to enter overseas markets by appointing Harry Goss as its first international managing director.
