Aspiring bakers will flock to the Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink festival this weekend, which will include celebrity chefs The Hairy Bikers (Si King and Dave Myers) and James Martin.
The iconic TV chefs will be providing intimate cooking demonstrations in the Country Kitchen Theatre, while a street food arena will be providing home-cooked baked favourites, gourmet dishes and accompanying live music.
In its first year, Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival is taking place in Skipton, a popular market town in the Peak District, with over 300 stalls selling local produce including artisan bread.
The Yorkshire Dales Food & Drink Festival is organised by a collaborative team of people passionate about all things foodie.
The festival aims to promote the ‘Field to Fork’ ethos showcasing the finest food, drink & chefs principally from the Yorkshire Dales region.
The weekend is for families and friends to have a great day out and to enjoy the best that Yorkshire has to offer.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £6 for children aged between 7 and 18.
