The lunch! trade show commences today with more than 6,000 visitors from retailing, hospitality, snacking, convenience and catering sectors expected over the next two days.
High street food operators such as Costa, Eat, Greggs and Upper Crust are some of the brands which will be at the show. Over 300 exhibiting companies will attend to attract buyers and showcase their lunch time products.
The Working lunch! Theatre will include sessions from speakers like Emma Read from insight company Horizons, Sarah Doyle from Eat, and Steve Flanagan from Starbucks UK.
The event will also reveal details of a rating initiative for coffee shops and cafés, created by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA).
The show will also host the annual Innovation Challenge Awards to showcase new food-to-go options in the industry. The final shortlist is decided by buyers.
