Burton’s Biscuit Company has launched a 2016 Halloween Cadbury Biscuits range.

The company has developed four products in the range, which will be introduced in August and will be on sale until 31 October.

Cadbury Screme Egg Biscuits make a return for Halloween after a successful first year last year. The product will be available in a new eight-pack following the launch of Cadbury Crème Egg biscuits in an eight-pack for Easter this year.

Cadbury Animals Halloweenies are designed to give a spooky twist to Cadbury Animals, with biscuits in the shape of bats, spiders and other creepy crawlies.

Meanwhile, a Halloween pack design has been created for the company’s Cadbury Mini Fingers line. Finally, Cadbury Trick or Treats Biscuits features and assortment of 15 bags of Cadbury Mini Fingers, Mini Animals and Mini Dino’s packed in a handy box.

The MRSP for the first three items is £1.79, while the Trick or Treats biscuit box has an MRSP of £4.49.

David Costello, head of category and shopper management at Burton’s Biscuits said: “Research has shown that over two-thirds of shoppers spend an average of £1 per pack on Halloween products [Kantar Worldpanel 6 w/e 1 November 2015], making low entry price points really important. With the Cadbury Biscuits Halloween line-up we’re meeting this need, bringing incremental shoppers to seasonal sweet biscuits, and working with retailers to drive shoppers to the fixture ahead of the Christmas period.”

Earlier this month Burton’s launched a new snack pack for its Cadbury Chocolate Fingers.
