Aunt Bessie’s expands hot dessert portfolio

The William Jackson Food Group brand Aunt Bessie’s has expanded its hot dessert selection with two new variant pudding pots.

The Premium Sticky Toffee Pudding Pot and Premium Stem Ginger Pudding Pot are both available in packs of two single servings (320g) – both priced at £1.75.

Lorraine Rothwell, marketing director for Aunt Bessie’s, said: “Customers are keen to treat themselves every now and then with a premium product. They’re also looking to reduce food waste and love the idea of having individual portion sizes.”

The desserts are set to be joined on the shelf by the Raspberry Bake Sponge Pudding Pots (180g) –priced at £1.25, and a Mulled Fruit Pie for four people (550g) – priced at £2.

Aunt Bessie’s has had a complete redesign of its portfolio – aiming for the packaging to be represented in ‘bold colours’ and a makeover for the Aunt Bessie character.

The NPDs will be available to purchase this week at major UK retailer and, in March, a duo of frozen desserts were launched under the Aunt Bessie’s brand.
