Genius Gluten Free has added Bread Crisps to its ‘Good for the Gut’ range, which is suitable for vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs.

The reinvented crispbreads contain chicory root inulin, a naturally occurring prebiotic fibre that contributes to normal gut function. One Bread Crisp contains a 2g portion of prebiotic fibre, which is one-sixth of the recommended daily intake (12g).

The Bread Crisp range comprises two varieties: the Genius Carb Cutter Bread Crisps, which contain quinoa and linseed and half the amount of carbs compared to regular crisp breads; and the Genius Protein Punch Bread Crisps, which contain sesame and sunflower seeds and 50% more protein than regular crispbreads.

Genius has also released Protein Punch Penne and Fibre Fest Fusilli pastas as part of its Good for the Gut line-up. This follows the launch of its colourful Fibre Fest Wraps in August.

The Genius Bread Crisps contain five portions per pack and are available at Sainsbury’s and Ocado (rsp £1.99).
