Cocktail bar chain Hawksmoor is offering its customers a steak slice with a premium difference – and a £20 price tag.

Described as “a tribute to that 24-hour petrol station classic”, the Hawksmoor Steak Slice is a 200g 35-day-aged rare breed ribeye, braised with red wine, wrapped inside puff pastry with some Colston Bassett Stilton.

The inspiration for the slice comes from the petrol station “pit stops” made by Hawksmoor founders Beckett and Huw Gott to the only pub that would serve them drinks when they were teenagers.

The slice is available until 30 November at all of Hawksmoor’s bars in London and Manchester, and has been launched to sell alongside a new cocktail menu.
