Shoppers will be able to order biscuits alongside their greeting cards following a tie-up between Biscuiteers and Thortful.
Thortful offers a unique range of stock and personalised greeting cards – created by a community of designers, illustrators, and photographers – most of which cannot be found on the high street.
From this week, Thortful customers will have the option to add on or purchase Biscuiteers’ biscuits when buying their card. They will be able to choose from a selection of Biscuiteers’ designs, including popular lines such as Bunch Of Roses, Hip Hip Hooray!, and You’re A Star!
“Biscuiteers and Thortful share a very similar ethos so a collaboration of our two brands felt like a natural fit,” said Biscuiteers founder Harriet Hastings.
“Both companies are independently owned, with a focus on artisan values. We have also built our businesses by working with the best creative talents to offer a genuinely original gifting experience and I’m confident this partnership will bring real added value to the Thortful customer experience.”
Founded in 2007, Biscuiteers now delivers to 117 countries and produces more than three million hand-iced biscuits from its purpose-built head office and bakery in London.
Alongside its direct sales, the brand is stocked in retailers including Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Harrods, and Hamleys. It also operates Icing Cafés in London’s Belgravia and Notting Hill, where adults and children can learn how to ice biscuits at the School of Icing. Along with the biscuit gifts, visitors can enjoy afternoon tea and patisserie treats, as well as commissioning biscuits and cakes.
The corporate arm of the business, meanwhile, creates bespoke biscuits for fashion brands including Yves Saint Laurent, Cartier, Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Dior, and Net-a-Porter.
Biscuiteers also holds licences for Paddington, Mr Men, Beatrix Potter, The Snowman, Monopoly, and the Natural History Museum.
