Bakery supplier Delice de France has marked its debut in the chilled ready-to-eat category with a new proposition for retailers and foodservice operators.
The ‘Delice to Go’ modular concept features a range of hot, chilled, and ambient grab-and-go products presented in premium packaging.
At the heart of the offer are eight different chilled sandwich options including Chicken Bacon Mayo, Chicken Curry, BLT, Cheese Ploughman’s, Chicken Salad, Ham & Cheese, Egg Mayo & Cress, and Tuna & Cucumber. There are also seven heat-to-eat items comprised of three paninis – Ham & Cheese, Tuna Melt, and Chicken Balti – an All Day Breakfast wrap, and croques in Five Cheese, Chicken & Chorizo, and Ham & Cheese varieties.
Vegan and vegetarian options are available too, along with a trio of salads provided in a wide-base bowl for maximum visibility.

Each chilled product has a minimum shelf life of four days, helping outlets reduce the chance of food waste, the firm said. Customers can place their chilled orders, either alongside their usual frozen bakery or independently, via the company’s website which operates on a day-one-for-day-three delivery lead time, with a 12pm cut-off.
Complete merchandising solutions are also provided for ambient bakery, chilled displays, hot food-to-go units, and a premium bean-to-cup coffee offer, all under a fully branded fascia.
The Delice to Go menu also offers a wider range of hot food, including savoury pastries, turnovers, and breakfast rolls, while for lunch there’s a selection of savoury slices, sausage rolls, burgers, and potato wedges.
Delice de France said the launch helped position it at the forefront of evolving consumer demand for convenient and high-quality meals. Having previously supplied its ranges frozen, the company began offering an ambient range of morning goods, breads and sweet treats – dubbed Delice Fresh – to London-based operators last month. Complementing this is a monthly rental hot drinks concept called Café Delice, which it rolled out in March.
“With the launch of our new chilled range and Delice to Go solution, retailers and hospitality outlets can now rely on us to cover every element of their food-to-go offering with trusted, quality products that are the proven bestselling varieties within their segments,” commented Thierry Cacaly, CEO at Delice de France.
Products are designed to tap into leisure occasions and appeal to busy shoppers on the go, meaning operators can have the confidence of offering something for every one of their customers, added Cacaly.
Delice to Go has a 12-week installation timeline from order to outlet launch, with Delice de France estimating it can help trade partners turnover approximately £200k a year.
