Bakery supplier Delice de France has unveiled a raft of on-trend products as part of its spring and summer range for 2025.

The launch sees 42 lines added including bread, pastries, cakes and more as the firm looks to incorporate the biggest flavour trends from world cuisines. They are showcased in a new catalogue that highlights key sellers from its 1,500-strong product range.

“The launch of our Spring/Summer catalogue is an important milestone for us every year in our ambition to support our trade partners with innovative, quality products that can help them drive their businesses forwards,” said Thierry Cacaly, Delice de France CEO.

“It presents an opportunity for us to make sure our range is truly delivering for the trade and sees us add strategically important products in key growth areas.”

Keeping it sweet

A Cardamom Knot is among the NPD being rolled out alongside a Wild Berry Knot and Cinnamon Knot – building on the popularity of the firm’s cinnamon buns which saw sales rise 38% last year.

“Cardamom is set to be one of the biggest sweet flavour trends in bakery this year,” said Cacaly. Indeed, cardamom was named as one of the top flavours for 2025 in British Baker’s Top Bakery Trends report alongside tiramisu, pistachio, and sour citrus.

Completing the new viennoiserie line up is Pain Suiss au Raisins. It follows the launch of Pain Suiss au Chocolat, which became the brand’s second bestselling new product last year, just behind the Khobez flatbreads.

Continuing with trending flavours, the supplier has also added a Pistachio Filled Doughnut and Churros to its line-up. It is also importing a trio of Pastel de Nata directly from Portugal in Original, Salted Caramel, and Apple varieties.

Delice de France is launching two pre-sliced loaf cakes too in Banana & Walnut and Sticky Toffee, Date & Pecan flavours, as well as a Zesty Orange Torte – a vanilla sponge base topped with a tangy orange layer and orange mousse.

Savoury flavours

On the savoury side, Delice de France has expanded its world cuisines range with a focus on international treats from popular holiday destinations such as Greece, Portugal and Spain.

This has resulted in several new additions to the Continental savouries range including:

  • Spinach & Cheese Filo Swirl
  • Handmade Spinach & Cheese Round Pie
  • Ham & Cheese Covered Pizza Pie, and
  • Handmade Chicken & Bacon Square Pie.

Premium breads

Delice de France has also invested in its ‘heartland’ of bread with a trio of sourdough baguettes in Rustic Stone, Ancient Grains, and Farmhouse with Rye which it said ‘underlines the company’s commitment to quality ingredients and true artisan baking’. Its core sourdough offering has also been boosted with White Sliced and Malted Sliced varieties.

Two breadsticks in Kalamata Olive & Sundried Tomato and Cheese, Garlic & Mixed Herb flavours also join the line up, aimed at ‘profit-driven operators who are looking to offer truly special experiences’.

For those looking for a ‘cost-effective product’, the supplier is now offering six new Kingsmill Professional loaves in Soft White, 50/50, and Tasty Wholemeal, each in Medium and Thick varieties.

Beverages and more

Recognising the importance of beverages for operators, Delice has also built on its partnership with Batch Organics, which commenced last year, extending the range with four new smoothie flavours: Organic Acai & Berries, Organic Greens & Pineapple, Organic Mango & Coconut, and Blue Spirulina, which is tipped to be the smoothie flavour of 2025. Four new shakes are also available – Organic Cacao & Banana, Salted Caramel, Chocolate & Banana, and Peanut Butter & Date.

This follows the unveiling of a new hot drink concept for foodservice operators by the firm. The monthly rental concept called Café Delice is said to offer margins of 40% for outlets selling at least 35 cups a day, with a menu including options of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.
