The Reuben Sourdough Bagel Board

Two Magpies Bakery is entering the catering market with the launch of luxury grazing boards and boxes aimed at weddings and other events across Norfolk and Suffolk.

There are more than 20 boards on offer ranging from breakfast boards with savoury croissants, bagels, and granola, to lunch and evening options with sandwiches, crudites, salad and charcuterie platters. For those looking for something a little sweeter, there’s a menu of desserts which includes fruit and cheese boards as well as the ultimate sweet treat board.

The Dessert Board, for example, includes mini meringues, brownie bites, Bakewell bites, seasonal macarons, dipped shortbread, mini cupcakes, rocky road bites and strawberries. It’s priced at £45 and serves six to 12 guests.

The Signature Savoury Board, meanwhile, features mini sausage rolls, signature cheese twists, Cheddar & chive scones, homemade chutney, Stokes Chilli Jam, and mustard. This board costs £50 and also serves six to 12 guests.

Priced from £20 to £60, the boards can be ordered individually or together to create a grazing table. All orders are delivered in catering boxes, perfect for informal parties, corporate events, and picnic boxes. Alternatively, customers can hire traditional wooden boards to create a more elegant buffet. Offering what the East Anglian firm describes as the ultimate catering package, tableware such as bamboo plates, cutlery, and napkins can also be added.

Each box comes with printed information with full ingredients and allergens. Vegan and vegetarian boards are also available

Since opening its doors in Southwold in 2013, Two Magpies now has a central bakery and school in Darsham, as well as cafes in Aldeburgh, Norwich, Blakeney, Holt, and Woodbridge, plus a new site in Beccles which is the brand’s first ‘Mini Magpies’ format. Aimed at grab-and-go customers, Mini Magpies focuses on takeaway sales and serves up coffee, sweet treats, and sandwiches.

The business previously stated an ambition to roll the concept out across the region as it witnesses growing demand for “great-tasting coffee and treats to go, particularly in these tourist hotspots”.
