Asda recalls Tiger Sausage Rolls in allergen scare

Asda has recalled its six-pack of Tiger Sausage Rolls as they contain milk, which is not mentioned on the ingredients list.

The supermarket has recalled all date codes of the 372g six-packs as they are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. The product has a £1.50 rsp and barcode number 505478105635

Asda has contacted relevant allergy support groups, which will tell members about the recall, and has issued a point of sale notice telling customers why the product has been recalled.

Consumers with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents are urged not to eat the product, but to return it to the store for a full refund.

The retailer apologised for any inconvenience caused.
