Bakers are banking on mums’ love of sweet treats, unveiling a raft of heart-warming NPD to gift smiles this Mother’s Day (30 March).
Of course there’s cakes – some in eloquent flavour combinations like Raspberry & Elderflower and Blueberry & Earl Grey, and many with decorations embracing the vibrant floral and fruity themes of spring. But there’s also many other indulgent options like free-from brownies and doughnuts, rose-topped cupcakes, botanical macarons, and heart-shaped pâtisserie.
Check out more details on the Mother’s Day bakery offerings below:
Mum ‘Noze’ Best doughnuts, Borough 22

Brownies and hamper, Cake or Death
Exeter-based bakery brand Cake or Death has unveiled its latest limited-edition box of plant-based chocolate brownies to support Mother’s Day celebrations this year. Each hot pink leopard print package (rsp: £23) contains two each of a trio of mum-friendly flavours including Almond, Candied Orange, and Coffee & Walnut.

These prices have risen even higher since, with Barry Callebaut academy chef Mark Tilling advising bakers to use compound chocolate instead.
