Andrea Jackson has left Shuga Budz to pursue her own cake business.

Choosing to depart when the Wolverhampton cake business relocated to a larger premises in September, Jackson said the timing was right.

She said: “I had been thinking about doing it for a while. It was the right time to spread my wings and give it a go myself.”

Founding her own cake business, Fantasticake, Jackson is working from home in a cake kitchen in her garage.

“A few years down the road I’d like to have premises, and I’ll probably look towards Telford, as I think there’s a gap in the market there. For now, the plan is to build up a customer base from home, and outgrow my home situation.”

The business will offer bespoke, decorated cakes for every occasion.
