Roger’s Bakery founder Roger Haycock handles products in his van. The company is one of the new adopters of integrated Cybake-Dill labelling software

Cybake has completed a full integration with Dill labelling software, bringing labelling and production data together in one connected system.

Swansea-based Dill offers a platform that helps businesses create and print labels with ingredients, allergens, and expiry dates. Meanwhile Cybake, which has its headquarters in York, is a provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for bakeries with a fast-growing user base across Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia.

The integration sees Cybake data on product, recipe, allergens, and nutrition flowing directly into Dill, ensuring labels are always based on the most up-to-date information. This removes the need for teams to re-enter data or manually transfer details, resulting in improved accuracy, time savings, and consistency across all products, it said.

Compliance with regulations such as Natasha’s Law – where clear ingredient and allergen labelling is essential – is also being supported by the software integration.

Artisan wholesaler Roger’s Bakery in Marsden, West Yorkshire, has been one of the first to test the new Cybake/Dill integration. “I chose Dill as I needed a seamless integration between my manufacturing software and my labelling software,” commented owner Roger Haycock.

“I wanted a system that automatically updated when I changed a recipe or an ingredient and met all the current labelling guidelines,” he added. “All my staff are now able to quickly print and reprint labels direct from a tablet without interrupting anybody else, simply making the whole process more efficient.”

Dill CEO Alex Coldea noted that the integration removes the biggest friction in labelling: data entry. “Recipe changes in Cybake reflect instantly in Dill – zero manual input, faster production and labelling ops for our end users,” he said. “Every label is fully compliant and traceable: use-by dates, regulated font sizes, automatic allergen bold formatting with data from Cybake.”

Last autumn, Cybake launched a new module extension to its software that provides an online store for commercial bakers who offer customisable products such as cakes, doughnuts, or cupcakes. Earlier in the year it added a new traceability module to enable faster product recalls and audits, and also announced an integration with Vita Mojo’s point-of-sale software.
